- Ease of Signup: Straight forward setup. Like most services its a simple form and an email confirmation.
- Website Useability: They have a good selection of movies, and decent information about the movies. However for a company like BigPond they could have done a much better job with their website. The most annoying thing is that when you add a DVD to the queue it doesn´t bring you back to the same point that you started. Even some of the smaller players could get that right.
- Delivery Speed: BigPond were the fastest of all the services. They beat QuickFlix by a day for the first delivery. Overall they were slightly faster than QuickFlix and WebFlicks (but the difference is less than a day on average), and significantly faster than the others.
- DVD Condition: Ok. A few DVD´s were scratched but nothing that wouldn´t work. BigPond send their DVD´s in an ridgid envelope with a cloth sleeve.
- Access to New Releases: Ok. Certainly not the greatest. But acceptable.
- Ease of Canceling Service: The Worst. BigPond make you call on the phone to cancel your service.
- General Comments: BigPond were ok. However given that they are the biggest player in the market they could be a lot better. Plus their prices aren´t that great if you consider the lack of "unlimited" plans. Their website is annoying enough to give up on them.
